We've just finished an incredible year of field classes. As usual the good karma continues thus  wildlife encounters, nature events and human experiences have been extraordinary. I offer special thanks to my dedicated volunteers, to students who continue to support and enjoy field classes and especially to the personnel from both government and private agencies that contribute valuable time to the welfare of this special education program. I do hope to see everyone in 2012.

Due to the incredible budget shortfalls in California universities and the ongoing recession, community colleges have an increased demand to serve students. I therefore recommend that you sign-up very early for field classes.
